The invention relates to boilers of the "multi-plant fuel" type. It comprises a peripheral water tank, at the centre of the feed sheath 2 in which the bundles of straw slide. Between the tank and the sheath, a tubular economiser 6 in the shape of a serpentine coil is incorporated in the smoke box 4. The former is connected to the water outlet from and return to the boiler. A sealed hatch 3 closes the upper part of the sheath. The lower part of the boiler comprises the hearth 13, the ashbox 14 and the movable grid 15. A regulator 8, 9, 10 makes it possible to regulate the temperature of the water. To supplement the regulation, a blower 11 connected to an electrical contact, is mounted on the chain of the regulator. Among the more beneficial applications of the invention may be mentioned heating agricultural concerns which themselves produce the fuel. <IMAGE>
