PURPOSE:To form the magnetic characteristic of a detecting pole substantially in a rectangular shape by forming to simultaneously magnetize a main pole and the detecting pole on the same surface of a magnet material. CONSTITUTION:A magnetizing device for mounting a cylindrical magnet material 7 has a magnetized core 1 and a holder ring 2, the core 1 is formed with four yokes 3 in a cross shape, and exciting coils 4 connected in series are wound on the yokes 3. The yokes 3 have the first pole shoe 5 having a narrow width and the second pole shoe 6 having a wide width so that the axial length of the shoe 5 is increased. A main pole is formed at the material 7 by a magnetic flux of the shoe 5, and a detecting pole is formed by a magnetic flux of the shoe 6. Thus, since the coils 4 are wound on the yokes 3 to become a common magnetic path of the magnetizing magnetic fluxes to the shoes 5, 6, the both poles can be simultaneously magnetized. |
