PURPOSE:To enable a lamphouse to be easily exchanged by providing an electrical contact supplying electric current to an optical source between the lamphouse and an optical input device so that the lamphouse is embedded in the optical input device. CONSTITUTION:An opening 9 is provided on the front lower surface of a main body of the optical input device 7 so that the lamphouse 8 can be inserted therethrough into the main body 7. To the front and back of the house 8 are provided a flange part and a pair of left and right screw threads 10, 11 while a spring plate 12 is mounted as an electric contact to be connected to the lamp to the upper part of the house 8. To th edge part of the opening 9 is formed a screw tap in register with the screw hole of the house 8 to permit the house 8 to be mounted and dismounted to and from the main body 7. The electric current is supplied to the lamp of the house 8 through the spring plate 12 and the coil spring 12 provided as the electric contact in the main body 7. By this constitution, the lamphouse 8 can be exchanged easily.
