PURPOSE:To decrease a surface defect rate, to improve a focusing servocontrol characteristic and to prevent clouding of a substrate surface in the case of a glass substrate and the generation of deposit in a recording layer by providing a film of specific polysiloxane on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:After the organoalkoxysilane and/or organoalloxysilane expressed by formula 1 is coated on the substrate, the coating is subjected to a heating treatment, by which the coating is condensated and the coating film of polysiloxane is formed. The organoalkoxysilane and organoalloxysilane is preferably coated on the substrate at 0.5-10mu in order to decrease the surface defect rate, 5-50mu in order to flatten the surface, 0.1-10mu in order to prevent the generation of the deposit and 0.2-10mu in order to prevent the moisture permeation of the plastic substrate. The most preferable amt. of coating is 0.5-10mu when the above-mentioned factors are taken into account. The most preferable among the compds. expressed by formula 1 is Si(OCH3)4, etc. |
