The special bottle opener for installation in a fixed manner on drinks bottles with crown corks is intended to permit the opening of drinks bottles in situ, without using conventional bottle openers or other aids. The special bottle opener is intended to compensate for the disadvantages which crown cork bottles have with regard to opening when compared with bottles with threaded tops and bring them into line with the overall state of the art. The special bottle opener is intended to remain permanently on the bottles and must not impede the fully automatic handling of bottles in the drinks industry. Trouble-free rapid changing of the opener of broken bottles for reuse on new bottles is guaranteed by the easily releasable holding strip, which is only clipped onto the bottle neck.
