An optical disc has spirally or coaxially (concentrically) arranged tracks, which are subdivided into a number of track groups. Each track group contains a predetermined number of tracks, in each case provided with a block head. The block heads of the respective tracks are aligned with one another in the radial direction of the optical disc.
