PURPOSE:To obtain a copy image free of defect and good in image quality by cleaning the surface of a conductive substrate with a liquid before vapor deposition of a selenium material and then, irradiating it with UV rays. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the conductive substrate is cleaned with a liquid before the vapor deposition of the selenium material, and then, the irradiation of the UC rays short in wavelength and high in energy decomposes and evaporates organic attached matters difficult to be removed with water or solvents, thus permitting defects of a copied image due to the defects of the photosensitive body to be reduced, and accordingly, this process to be extremely effective in order to enhance the quality of the photosensitive body and obtain a good image. |
