PURPOSE:To make the high speed obtaining of the same pattern on the obverse and reverse possible, by printing the pattern which is transferred, in a set-off on cylinder state, from a blanket cylinder onto another blanket cylinder, on both the surfaces of the material to be printed. CONSTITUTION:The pattern of a plate 6 is transferred onto the first blanket cylinder 2 and the second blanket cylinder 3. Each cylinder is rotated by 180 deg. in the arrow marked direction. Ink is supplied to the greater part of a plate cylinder 1 with a feeder 7, adherred to the printing area of the plate 6 and a pattern is formed. Then, each cylinder is further repeatedly rotated by 180 deg. and the pattern of the plate 6 is transferred onto the blanket cylinder 2. A pattern 5 is formed and at the same time, new ink is supplied onto the plate 6. The blanket cylinder 3 is lowered downward from the blanket cylinder 2 with a cylinder control means by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the material 4 to be printed, or otherwise by an amount of printing pressure caused by the first and second blanket cylinders. Further, when each cylinder is rotated by 180 deg., ink is respectively transferred onto the obverse of the material 4 to be printed from the blanket cylinder 2 and onto the reverse thereof from the blanket cylinder 3 and the pattern as that of plate 6 is, is formed on the obverse and reverse conforming to aims with each other. |
