PURPOSE:To obtain the foot operated resistance welder having high electrode welding pressure by fitting a link bar to the intermediate part of treadle lever and by constituting the moving body provided at the tip of the link bar movably freely along the arm fitted to the link bar of welding pressure system. CONSTITUTION:A work is pinched between electrodes 15, 16 by the second arm 12 by pulling down the first link bar 5 with some tread of the pedal 3 of a foot lever 2 and by pushing up the second link bar 10 with the rotation of the first arm 9 by moving body 7. With further tread of the pedal 3 the moving body 7 is moved so as to recede from a fulcrum B on the arm 9 and when it comes to the tip of the arm 9 the leverage becomes the maximum and the maximum welding pressure is applied on the work. The foot operated resistance welder having high electrode welding pressure is thus obtd.
