PURPOSE:To supply the starting fuel stably by making a pressure regulator of a gas engine have two steps of pressure reduction to a fixed pressure and to atmosphere and by providing a pressure regulating valve bypass passage between both the chambers and opening the passage in starting. CONSTITUTION:Gas fuel from a tank flows into a primary chamber 25 from an opening 29 of a pressure regulator 8 while being regulated by a valve 33 so that the pressure in the primary chamber 25 becomes that corresponding to the combined force of atmospheric pressure and a spring 36. The gas fuel reached a fixed pressure in the chamber 25 is introduced into a secondary chamber 27 from a hole 31 by opening a valve 37 so that the pressure in the secondary chamber 27 reaches an atmospheric pressure almost opposing to a spring 41, and is supplied to an engine from a hole 35 in accordance with the venturi negative pressure in an intake pipe. A passage 11 is provided by bypassing the valve 37 between the primary chamber 25 and the secondary chamber 27, and in starting of the engine, a valve body 12a of a solenoid valve 12 opens the passage 11, and stable supply of fuel regulated in the primary chamber can be made. |
