摘要 PURPOSE:To make an air-fuel ratio controllable so accurately, by performing compensation and control on the basis of the carburetion rate found out of a differential portion between the air-fuel ratio operated out of a combustion speed and the air-fuel ratio operated out of a suction air quantity and a fuel supply. CONSTITUTION:The duration of a flame to be propagated from a spark plug 16 to an ion sensor 17 is measured, while a combustion speed is detected by an engine control unit 18, and a first air-fuel ratio is operated. On the other hand, a second air-fuel ratio is operated on the basis of fuel injection time and the suction air quantity detected by an air flow meter 4. Next, a carburetion rate is operated on the basis of a differential portion between these first and second air-fuel ratios. The larger in the differential portion, the smaller in the carburetion rate whereby a compensation factor for accelerating compensation is calculated out of this carburetion rate. This accelerating compensation value and the air-fuel ratio compensation value corrected so as to become the desired flame propagation time both are added to a fundamental injection quantity, thus a final injection quantity is calculated.
