PURPOSE:To reduce the working inactive time of the system, by carrying out the diagnosis for the lower-rank device to which the setting is designated and then performing the setting only when the setting is possible. CONSTITUTION:The MTU diagnosis part 28 transmits the signal to the gate control part 26 in order to give a diagnosis to the corresponding MTU20 when either one of the switches 25 is turned on. Thus the corresponding gate 23 is turned on. Then the part 28 transmits and receives the data to and from the relevent MTU20 via the gate 23, and then performs a diagnosis. As the result of the diagnosis, the part 28 detects that the relevant MTU20 can be made active and then transmits the signal to both the part 26 and the display control part 29. Thus the relevant gate 23 is kept on thereafter, and at the same time the corresponding display element 27 is lit up. After this, the data transmission/reception becomes possible between the MTC10 and the corresponding MTU20, and the MTC10 becomes active. And at the same time, the corresponding display element 27 is lit up. Thus the fact that the corresponding MTU20 has been selected is displayed. |
