PURPOSE:To generate hardly a pin hole due to an attachment at an a-Si photoelectric body by operating a photoelectric body with the timing to start the electrostatic charging and impressing after the picture cleaned by a cleaning means passes through the electrostatic charging area of an electrostatic charger. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting the drum rotation, after the surface of a photoelectric drum 1 cleaned by a cleaner 6 passes through an electrostatic charging area, so as to start to operate respective electrostatic chargers 2 and 5, and a destaticizer 8, the sequence is controlled by using by a publicly-known timer, etc. After starting is executed by a copy button and the photoelectric drum 1 starts to rotate, timings t1-t3 to start to operate respective electrostatic chargers satisfy the relation of t1>ta, t2>tb and t3>tc when the time to shift the distance (a)-(c) respectively is (ta)-(tc). |
