PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent tensile shear strength at a relatively high temp. and suitable for use in bonding FRP, consisting of an epoxy compd. and a specified hardener. CONSTITUTION:An aliph. polyamine compd. (a) of the formula (wherein n is 2-5) is reacted with a liquid diene rubber (b) having an MW of 1,000-7,000 and a carboxyl group at its terminal (e.g. acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber) in a molar ratio of (a) to (b) of 5-100 at 110-200 deg.C to obtain a hardener (B). An epoxy compd. (A) (e.g. bisphenol A type epoxy resin) contg. an average of at least two epoxy groups per molecule is blended with component B in a quantity of 0.8-1.5 times stoichiometric amount determined from the number of epoxy groups in component a and the number of active hydrogen atoms in component B to obtain an epoxy resin adhesive compsn. having a tensile shear strength of 70-120kg/cm<2> at on temp. and 40-85kg/cm<2> at 100 deg.C.
