PURPOSE:To lock a wrong device individually or in a lamp by providing a means for setting an input and an output to a disable (ineffective) state, respectively, on plural input/output devices. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller is constituted to a CPU1, a ROM2, a RAM3, an interface 4 of plural remote I/Os 5a-5n, a loader device 6 and its interface 7 for loader, and a data memory 8 in which various data are stored. The storage contents of this memory 8 are formed, by for instance, an I/O data, an internal memory, a timer, a set value of a counter, and a special mem ory. In this case, in the special memory, an input disable flag and an output disable flag are prepared. These memory contents are read out by a sequence program of the RAM3, and the remote I/Os 5a-5n corresponding to its contents are set to a disable state or an enable state.
