PURPOSE:To minimize the operation by allowing the operator to lift a handset according to a display message after the end of transaction to attain talking. CONSTITUTION:When an EOT representing end of data is received, a control section 20 opens a switch 6 to interrupt a telephone line, a response message is displayed on a display device 19 to complete the transaction. The control section 20 discriminates whether the reply message has an automatic dial command or not and when existing, the system is in standby until a hook switch 5 hooks off. When the operator lifts a handset according to the command of the display device 19, off-hook of the hook switch 5 is detected by a detection circuit 13, the control section 20 reads a dial number received from a reception buffer 18 and sends the result to a dial circuit 7 to apply automatic dial to a designated party.
