PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. which is less notch-dependent and has excellent resistance to impact and heat distortion, by blending an olefin copoly mer with a resin compsn, by blending an olefin copolymer with a resin compsn. consisting of a polyarylate and a polyamide. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. (A) is obtd, from 1-70wt% polyarylate (a) obtd. from a bisphenol such as bisphenol A and terephthalic and/or isopthalic acid or its functional derivative (e.g. acid dichloride) and 99-30wt% polyamide (b) (e.g. polycaprolactam). 50-99.5wt% component A is mixed with 50-0.5wt% olefin copolymer (B) (e.g. ethylene/glycidyl methacrylate copolymer) composed of an alpha-olefin and glycidyl ester of an alpha, beta-unsaturated acid of the formula (wherein R4 is H, lower alkyl). The mixture is melt-kneaded.
