PURPOSE:To prevent fluid from intrusion into a valve body by making always a planar valve seat surround, enclose and contact a through hole in the valve body when a valve operates from the fully opened condition to the fulley closed one. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like valve body 3 has a parallel seat surface 31 slidably fitting on a seat surface 21 of a valve seat body and a through hole 32 corresponding to a through hole 22 in the valve seat body. The seat surface 31 is formed to include a portion 33 which is a partition wall of flow path when the valve is fully closed. The external outline of the seat surface 21 of valve seat body is formed such that it overlaps the external outline of seat surface 31 of the valve body when the valve is fully opened. Thus, in any positions from the fully opened valve to the fully closed one, the seat surface 21 of valve seat body and the seat surface 31 of valve body keep enclosing and contacting to surround the through hole 22 of valve seat body and through hole 32 of valve body.
