PURPOSE:To promote the reaction velocity of reaction gas and molten steel and to obtain a converter apparatus less in the damage of tuyere due to vibration by providing the tuyere by which a blow-in port of the reaction gas is slanted to the oblique lower part to the neighborhood of rotary shaft which vibrates a converter main body of the side face part of the converter main body to right and left. CONSTITUTION:In a converter apparatus in which the converter main body 1 is vibrated to right and left with a rotary shaft 4, tuyeres 15 blowing reaction gas such as oxygen 6 into the molten steel 5 incorporated in the converter main body 1 are provided to the neighborhood of the rotary shaft 4 of the side face parts of the converter main body 1 and the blow-in ports of the reaction gas of the tuyeres 15 are slanted to the oblique lower parts. Oxygen 6 is blown into the molten steel 5 downwards from the tuyere 15 and the unreacted oxygen is floated and diffused in the whole parts of the molten steel 5 to be allowed to react quickly. Since the tuyeres 15 are provided to the neighborhood of the rotary shaft 4, the moving is small and the damage due to vibration is diminished. Furthermore, the tuyeres 15 are made double structure to pass cooling gas therein and the durability of the tuyeres 15 is further improved preferably by preventing the damage due to high temp. |
