PURPOSE:To enable uniform transfer to be performed even where a recording surface of a paper is severely rugged, by pressing the recording surface of the paper by a roller through a film after an ink is transferred onto the paper. CONSTITUTION:A pressure roller 10 is rotatably supported on a shaft 13 erected on the front end side of a bracket 12 slidably fitted on a carriage 3. The film 11 has one end part wound around a shaft 16 rotatably supported on the carriage 3, is extended from this position to pass between the roller 10 and the paper 9, and has the other end part wound around a take-up shaft 17. Accordingly, since an ink is pressed against the paper 9 by the roller 10 through the film 11, the ink is uniformly transferred and adhered to the recording surface of the paper even where the recording surface is severely rugged, and higher printing quality can be contrived. In addition, since the paper 9 is pressed by the roller 10 through the film 11, adhesion of the ink or other contaminants to the roller 10 can be securely prevented from occurring. |
