PURPOSE:To attain a low impedance, less delay time from an on/off command and a gate driver with less loss by providing a switch circuit activated at the moment of charge/discharge to a charge/discharge path of a control electrode of a complementary buffer circuit comprising a field effect transistor (TR) constituting the final amplifier section. CONSTITUTION:The discharge time constant depends almost on a resistance value R of a resistor 7 and a static capacitance Cx of a capacitor 16 between electrodes when a resistance value R17 of a resistor 17 is sufficiently smaller than the resistance R. Since it is at the moment only when the output changes from the On to the OFF state that the field effect TR15 is activated, a field effect TR having a small current capacity is used and then an element having a smaller static capacitance 16 between electrodes is selected. As a result, a time tds3 when a gate output of a gate drive circuit 12 changes from On to OFF state are reduced more than those of a conventional driver. |
