PURPOSE:To prevent the camber of a rolling stock by providing rolls to the upstream and downstream sides in the advancing direction of the rolling stock respectively and making the rolls of both sides press hold the stock and adjust its sheet camber alternately. CONSTITUTION:An upper work roll 1 is enabled to offset in the rolling-line direction through its chocks 7 by arranging cylinders parallelly to the line on the housing of a mill. Rolls 12, 13, 14, 15, moved vertically by hydraulic cylinders 8, 9, 10, 11, are arranged at the inlet and outlet sides of the mill. When a rolling stock S is fed from the A direction, the rolls 12, 13 serve to press hold the stock S and the roll 15 serves to correct the camber of the stock S. When the stock S is fed from the B direction, the work roll 1 is offset to the left side, and the rolls 14, 15 serve to press-hold the stock S and the roll 13 serves to correct the sheet camber respectively. In this way, the sheet camber of rolling stock S is prevented.
