PURPOSE:To increase the speed of program executing by dividing again a memory so as to obtain the coincidence of ratios between the memory size of each data type and the memory using frequency and allocating these divided memories to the data types respectively. CONSTITUTION:An active cell counter circuit 5 counts the active cells of each data type and holds this count result. While a memory using frequency counter circuit 6 counts the memory using frequencies of each data type and sends the count value to a memory using frequency accumulating circuit 8 to hold this accumulation value. A memory size calculating circuit 7 calculates a new memory size from the output values of the circuit 5 and the circuit 8 and sends the calculation value to a memory size register 3 and a memory compressing circuit 9. The circuit 9 gives access to an MS2 based on the outputs of the register 3 and the circuit 7 and excludes the garbage cells of each data type to leave the active cells only by compression.
