<p>A soft multi-chamber capsule consists of a covering, the inner space of which is divided into a plurality of chambers by at least one partition. These chambers contain materials, for example, medicine, cosmetics or food. The number of such chambers is usually two, and the space between first and second coverings is divided into two chambers by a partition provided therebetween. Such a soft multi-chamber capsule is manufactured by feeding a first film, which is to form the first covering, a second film, which is to form the second covering, and a third film, which is to form the partition, between a pair of die rolls in a capsule molding apparatus continuously so that the third film is positioned between the other two films, while introducing materials into the space between the capsule-defining portions of the third and first films and the space between the capsule-defining portions of the third and first films; and joining under pressure these three films except their respective capsule-defining portions.</p> |
