Barrier drive

The invention relates to a barrier drive with a driving motor which is connected to a worm gear mechanism which, for its part, drives a crank mechanism connected to an output shaft for a barrier pole. In order to obtain a simple and compact construction without requiring a reversible motor, the crank mechanism has a wheel, connected firmly to which is a crank pin which has a bearing pocket for a rolling bearing which, at one end, accommodates a fork which is connected in articulated fashion to the output shaft, the axis of the rolling bearing being inclined at an angle of about 45 DEG to the front face of the wheel in a direction towards the axis of the wheel.
