PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the steering inertia, by arranging a cross drive shaft in the rear of a front fork to couple it rotatably to a longitudinal drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinal drive shaft 14 is rotatably journalled by means of a housing 22 incorporating a bearing 13 along the longitudinal center of a vehicle body, inside of a gear box 12 attached to a front fork. An equi-speed ball joint 15 which is splinedly fitted onto and coupled with the front end of a drive shaft 8 on the rearward prolonged line of the longitudinal drive shaft 14. A bevel gear G1 is splinedly fitted onto the front cylindrical section of the equi-speed ball joint 15, and is meshed with a bevel gear G2 locked on a cross drive shaft 17.
