摘要 The pneumatic characteristic converter valve works with a valve-adjusting sleeve, two piston diaphragms held on the valve-adjusting sleeve, an intermediate chamber defined by the piston diaphragms, an inlet chamber defined by a housing end wall and one piston diaphragm, and an outlet chamber defined by another housing end wall and the second piston diaphragm. The piston diaphragms are each clamped with an outer torus on the valve housing, in which arrangement the annular piston diaphragm defining the outlet chamber has an inner torus, and a valve-seat disc immovably connected to the valve-adjusting sleeve has a valve passage connecting the intermediate chamber to the outlet chamber and having a plate valve which can be pushed open against resilient means. In order to obtain an output pressure with a continuous characteristic as a signal from a diesel engine supercharged by an exhaust-gas turbocharger, which signal is dependent upon the engine load, the intermediate chamber is to be connected to a vacuum control valve dependent upon the injection quantity, and the inlet chamber is to be connected to the charge-pressure line of the diesel engine. For this case, the piston diaphragm defining the inlet chamber has a disc shape closed upon itself with a concentric mushroom fastening portion.
