The plant comprises three units separate from each other; a crusher (1) supplied with lumps of carbon dioxide ice, a doser (3) with extraction screw-spring (13), and a propulsion device (5) mounted in a carrier gas conduit (4). The assembly is kept in a CO2 atmosphere by a hood (6). Application to the scraping of surfaces in the nuclear industry.
