Indicator device blocking a safe-cabinet closing mechanism in the open and closed position. On the shaft 6 of the handle 1 serving for operating espagnolettes 8, 9 and a bolt 11 is keyed a disc 7 carrying two pairs of stops 14, 15, of which one stop 14B, 15B is elastically retractable in one direction, whilst a plate 5 carrying blocks 12, 13 capable of being contained between the stops of each pair is displaceable together with a movable element 4 of a combination 3, so that the handle 1 cannot be operated without the prior operation of the combination 3. <IMAGE>
