PURPOSE:To feed and eject a floppy disk in a safe and accurate way by using the force of a spring member which turns an arm member in a single direction to press a roll revolving over the arm member to the floppy disk. CONSTITUTION:The sheet of floppy disk is set between a feed roll 4 and a play roll 14 and then sent into a gap between guides 121a and 121b of a floppy disk driver 116. A turntable 145 is turned toward an arrow head B with the conduction of a solenoid 128. Then an oscillating arm 118 is turned toward an arrow head A centering on a rotary shaft 127 with the force of a tension spring 130. Then the floppy disk is held between rolls 123 and 124. At this time point, a motor 131 is driven and the floppy disk is sent up to a position where the lower end of the floppy disk hits a stopper 135. A control part revolves a cam 120 to close a cover 117. A magnet clutch 134 controls the torque of the shaft 127 so that the load of the roll 123 hardly exceed a prescribed level.
