PURPOSE:To easily make the finishing work of an erase gap by forming the erase gap before the completion of the slicing work of a coupled block body. CONSTITUTION:Slicing of a coupled block body is performed in such a way that the block body is cut to a prescribed location by using a cutting edge 10 and, after cutting to the prescribed location, moving the cutting edge rightward (the moving distance being equal to an erase gap width), and then, performing the cutting operation to the final location. After performing the cutting operation to the final location, depth finishing and cutting-off operation of back section are performed, and thus, an erase core slider assembly is obtained. When the coupled block body is sliced in such a way, the moving distance of the cutting edge 10 can be maintained accurately and an accurate erase gap width can be obtained. |
