Chip plywood is manufactured from 60 % pulp sludge having particle size of 0.005 - 0.25 microns, 3 - 5 % moisture content and 40% rice straw having size of 0.05 - 1.0 mm. This is done by mixing 10 parts of urea resin solution, drying the mixture in a press at 100 ≦̸C and 15 kg/cm2, crushin to produce the wood chips having particle size of 0.05 - 1.0 mm, mixing 10 parts of phenolic resin solution, and molding at 200 - 250 ≦̸C with a pressure of 30 kg/cm2.
