PURPOSE:To enhance releasability from the surface of a fixing roller by polymerizing a compsn. prepared by dispersing a colorant, a polyolefin wax, and a nonpolyolefin wax into a polymerizable monomer. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic image developing toner is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable compsn. prepared by dispersing the colorant, the polyolefin wax, and the nonpolyolefin wax into a polymerizable monomer and suspended in an aq. medium. At that time, the spherical toner particles having a necessary average particle diameter and high fluidity can be directly obtained by substantially in one step by selecting proper polymn. conditions. A preferable total amt. of the 2 kinds of waxes to be added is in the range of 7-50pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the polymerizable monomer to be used for the toner. |
