PURPOSE:To complete formation of a cog by eliminting air between a groove part of a matrix and rubber of a cog part, by performing removal of air by boring a through hole having a predetermined diameter on a recessed groove part of the matrix. CONSTITUTION:An unvulcanized belt sleeve is fitted to a matrix, which is a mold for vulcanization, and a wide and vulcanized belt sleeve with a cog is formed by pressurizing and heating by a pressurizing and heating press or jacket P from the outside. In this instance, as the recessed groove part of the matrix M is provided with an air vent through hole 7, a protrusion 4a is formed by flowing rubber into the hole 7. Then the vulcanized wide belt sleeve with the cog is removed from the matrix M, cut off along a longitudinal direction of the belt by a well known device and a plurality of pieces of V-belts with the cogs is obtained. |
