PURPOSE:To obtain the accurate measured value of antenna capacity by removing the change portion due to the movement of a transmission line, by providing change-over function to a transmission line part revolving along with a transmission side antenna and correcting the measured value of a received radio wave. CONSTITUTION:When a switch SW 9 is in the side of a contact (a), the radio wave emitted from antenna 2 to be tested is measured by a receiver 6 and supplied to a recorder 13. Next, when the switch SW 9 is connected to a shortcircuit board 10 through the side of a contact (b), the radio wave from a transmitter 1 is reflected by the board 10 through a circulator CCL 11, movable transmission line 4 and the switch SW 9 while the reflected wave is emitted from a fixed antenna 12 through CCL 11. Therefore, the amplitude and phase of the radio wave by the antenna 12 excited by radio wave after the reciprocation through the line 4 can be measured. The change portions of the amplitude and phase of the radio wave in the line 4 due to the rotation of the antenna are calculated and the correction of th previously calculated amplitude and phase is performed. By this method, the radiation pattern of the antenna 2 can be accurately measured.
