PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a marking part caused by friction in opening and closing operation by marking a specified indication using a solid lubricant on a slidable cover of a battery compartment installed in the outer jacket of an electronic appliance. CONSTITUTION:A battery compartment 2 is installed in the outer jacket 1 of a thin electronic appliance to accommodate a battery 6. A cover 3 of the compartment 2 is opened and closed by sliding a knob 5. An indication 9 which indicates a battery insertion direction is marked with solid lubricant ink on the surface of the cover 3. Since a solid lubricant film always exists between the cover 3 and the outer jacket 1, insulation between them is maintained, and peeling off of marking caused by repeatedly closing and opening the cover 3 is prevented, and reliability is increased. |
