PURPOSE:To prevent liquid fuel from penetrating in a breather passage behind a check valve, by forming an empty chamber in a nearer position at the side of a fuel tank than the chack valve in the breather passage formed in a cap being put on an oil feed port of the fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:An oil feed port 4 is formed in an upper surface of a fuel tank 2, and the oil feed port 4 is covered with a cap 5. A body 9 of the cap 5 is constituted of an upper surface plate 12 and a body part 13 attached to the lower surface, and the upper surface plate 12 is attached to a base plate 7 by a pivot shaft 11. And, a breather passage B ranging from a small hole 16 to an opening 26 to the atmosphere is formed in this body part 13. At the abovementioned, an empty chamber 18 is formed just behind the small hole 16 in the breather passage B, and a check valve chamber 21 is formed in an upper part of the empty chamber 18 via a small hole 19. With this constitution, liquid fuel entails scattering inside the empty chamber 18, consuming its kinetic energy, so that it loses energy to open a check valve 22. |
