The invention relates to a device for linking a vacuum attachment to the casing of a vacuum cleaner. In this device serving for linking a vacuum attachment 1 to a casing 4 of a vacuum cleaner by means of a fastening ring 5 and in which one end of the attachment 1 retains the vacuum cleaner hose while the other end engages in a tubular connection piece 11 of the casing and while a rotating ring 3 is formed on the attachment 1, the fastening ring 5 comprises a sectioning zone fitted with a closure device; the fastening ring 5 is placed on the internal wall of the rotating ring 3 and on its external periphery are provided retaining bosses 7 engaging in openings 9 of the rotating ring 3, the fastening ring 5 engaging into retaining members 13 of the tubular connection piece 11; mounting and dismantling are thus made easier.
