An actuator for carburetor fuel pump has a lever actuated by butterfly valve cable with cam surface to control pump push rod. The relative position of control member(36), as against the housing(35), can be controlled by the rotation of the nut(32). For a rapid accelerating engine, the pressure of the pump chamber(12) diminishes the flow of fuel.
