PURPOSE:To permit the early steadiness of an operation by a method wherein the number of revolution of a fan is risen gradually upon start raising the load condition is calculated by the number of revolution at the point which arrived to the predetermined amount of air while the number of revolution of the fan which the amount of air becomes to a target value is obtained and it is risen and controlled at a short stroke. CONSTITUTION:The number of revolution of a fan 6 upon operation starting or upon raising after defrost operation at once is risen gradually and the amount of air is increased by the frequency gradual rising control of an inverter 11 due to the first raising control means 30 while the load condition based on a frequency signal value Fcs for the inverter 11 is calculated by the load condition calculating means 31 at the point which arrived to the predetermined low amount of air value Qs. Thereafter, the target frequency Fv corresponding to the frequency signal value Fcs for the inverter 11 form the memory contents of RAM is read and set by the target frequency setting means 32 while the frequency of the inverter 11 may be risen and controlled from the frequency in the low amount of air Qs to the target frequency Fv thereof at the short stroke by the control means 33.
