PURPOSE:To form concentrically a coating film to the prescribed part of a work to a desired thickness by injecting powder to the coating part of the work, welding the same by a laser beam and driving and controlling the work while sucking the remaining powder. CONSTITUTION:The powder of the coating material is injected to the working part of the work 1 through a nozzle 3 and is fluidized on the surface thereof. The powder is sucked by a suction nozzle 5 and is fed to a storage part 10 so as to be used cyclically. The laser beam oscillated from an oscillator 7 is irradiated via a reflecting mirror 8 and a condenser lens 9 on the powder flowing on the surface of the work 1, by which the powder is quickly heated and welded. An X-axis motor 11 and a Y-axis motor 12 are numerically controlled by an NC control device in this stage to move and control a table 2, by which the scanning of the focus irradiation of the laser beam is controlled to form the desired coating film according to the program. The coating is thus formed on the work 1 to the desired shape.
