Linear gas burner having air blown into it, comprising several injectors disposed at the entry to a combustion zone, an air distribution tube (1) connected to a pressurised air supply, a gas distribution tube (8) mounted inside the air distribution tube and connected to a pressurised gas supply, the said injectors comprising a row of gas injectors (9, 49) distributed along the gas distribution tube and connected to this tube, and air injectors (2, 60) disposed coaxially around the gas injectors and connected to the air distribution tube, the gas injectors and air injectors comprising respectively tubular elements (2, 40, 50, 60) fixed to the corresponding distribution tube, these respective elements being coaxially disposed so as to define an annular duct (46, 56) between them for the passage of air, characterised in that one of the ends of the air distribution tube (1) is connected to the pressurised air supply (6) and its second end is blocked by a removable stopper (3), in that the gas distribution tube has two support rods (16) which are disposed parallel to the gas injectors and which are fixed by removable means (17) to the wall of the air distribution tube, and in that the maximum transversal dimension of the gas distribution tube (8) with tubular elements (40, 50, 52) of gas injectors is less than the interior diameter of the air distribution tube, so as to enable the introduction and the withdrawal of the gas distribution tube with its injectors through the second end of the air distribution tube.
