PURPOSE:To perform removing operation for jam paper and maintenance inspection extremely easily by providing a couple of separating claws to one of levers which constitute a link mechanism and allowing the separating claws to contact and leave fixing rollers through the link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A support lever 3, the 1st operating arm 4, the 2nd operating arm 5, and a link lever 10 form the quadrilateral link mechanism, which is provided rotatably to right and left around the support shaft 2. Then, a couple of upper and lower guide plates 12 and 13 are supported on the link lever 10 and their tips are fixed to the separating claws 17 and 18. In this constitution, the separating claws 17 and 18 normally contact fixing rollers 17 and 18, but a specific handle is drawn in case of jam occurrence to rotate the link mechanism to left around the shaft 2, moving the claws 18 and 19 away from the fixing rollers. Consequently, the removing operation for jam paper and other maintenance and inspection are performed extremely easily. |
