PURPOSE:To always perform the optimum operation of both switching elements irrespective of the variation in the operating conditions by adding an interlocking function for preventing the simultaneous firing of the both switching elements to a separately-excited series DC inverter. CONSTITUTION:An interlocking circuit 6 for preventing a pair of switching elements 4, 5 from firing simultaneously is provided at the previous stage of the elements 4, 5. The circuit 6 detects that an AC voltage of the output from the connecting point (5) of the elements 4, 5 is reset to a neutral point by a detector 61, and when the input of one element 4 is switched from ON state to OFF state by the detected value of the detector 61, the other element 5 is held in OFF state by a simultaneous firing preventing circuit 62 until the element 4 effectively becomes the OFF state to prevent the pair of switching elements from firing simultaneously. |
