PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the case used at a low temperature by using rare earth metal magnet as a magnet used for a noncontact type torque transmitting joint. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of rare earth metal magnet varies its demagnetizing curve in a direction from 1 to 2 when shifting from ambient temperatures to low temperature, and a magnetic flux density rather increases from B1 to B2. Accordingly, when the rare earth metal magnet is used as a magnet used for a noncontact type torque transmitting joint, its torque transmitting capacity is not only remarkably increased as compared with the conventional one using a ferrite magnet, but the performance does not decrease even is used at a low temperature but rather improved. |
