PURPOSE:To provide tape squeaking prevention effect by charging a fixing material around a magnetic core, fixing a magnetic core, and adding a fluorine- contg. oligomer to the fixing material. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head is constituted as a four-channel head and has four magnetic cores 1 and this head is fitted fixedly in a case 5. Each magnetic core 1 is constituted by arranging a couple of magnetic core half bodies made of laminates of thin plates with high magnetic permeability in abutting relation across a magnetic gap G, adding coil winding (not shown in figure), etc., and clamping plate type isolation members 2 and 2' which control the gap and plate type shield members 3 and 3' which perform magnetic shielding between the core half bodies, and the core is fitted in the case 5. Then, the front end surface of each magnetic core 1 which has the magnetic gap G is put opposite an opening part 6 formed in the sliding surface of the case 5 and the fixing material 4 made of resin as a base material is charged in the case and set. In this case, the fluorine-containing oligomer is added to the fixing material 4 as an additive which has lubricating operation and good orientation and makes the fixing material 4 repellent.
