<p>PURPOSE:To let a user confirm whether a program is a necessary program or not by reproducing a recording start part for a specific time after the traveling of a magnetic tape is stopped when a program search signal is detected in the middle of fast-forwarding or rewinding operation. CONSTITUTION:When an operation key for program searching operation is operated, that is judged by a control circuit 17. Then, the circuit 17 places a VTR is fast-forward or rewind mode. A detecting circuit 16 decides whether there is a program search signal or not. When the program search signal is detected, the VTR is placed in reproduction mode. Further, it is decided whether external operation is performed or not in the middle of the reproduction mode. The user sees a reproduced picture when the program searching operation is completed and judges whether this is a desired program or not.</p> |
