<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce securely a subordinate information signal which is recorded at a specific position on a track by controlling the traveling of a recording medium on the basis of a tracking signal reproduced at timing relevant to the recording position of the subordinate information signal. CONSTITUTION:Reproducing signals of heads 3 and 4 are extracted by a gate circuit 28 during reproduction with window pulses. Those reproducing signals are supplied to an LPF35 through the A-side terminal of a switch 34 and also supplied to a PCM audio circuit 30. The circuit 30 performs error correction, time-base expansion, and signal conversion such as D-A conversion reversely as compared with recording and a reproduced analog audio signal is outputted from a terminal 36. The LPF35 separates a pilot signal TPS for tracking generated by a pilot generating circuit 32 and the signal components is supplied to an ATF circuit 37. A tracking error signal is supplied to a capstan motor control circuit 20 to control the traveling of a tape 1 during reproduction through capstans 14 and 15, thereby performing tracking control.</p> |
