PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic card having an excellent durability by incorporating to a binding agent of the magnetic recording layer, both of one or more of the specific two kinds of aqueous emulsions and one or more of copolymers of isobutylene or diisobutylene and a maleic acid anhydride. CONSTITUTION:The binding agent of the ferromagnetic powders comprises one or more of the component A selected from the aqueous emulsions of a styrene-butadiene gum and a polyvinylidene chloride and one or more of copolymers (component B) of isobutylene-maleic acid anhydride and diisobutylene-maleic acid anhydride. The magnetic recording layer is formed on one of surfaces of a wood free paper by coating a coating material contg. the magnetic powders dispersed in said binding solution followed by drying. The thermosensible coloring layer contg. a leuco dye and a developer as main components is provided on an opposite side of the paper surfaces. By applying said binding agent to the card, the titled card which has a less tendency for peeling the blocking layer and the magnetic recording layer from said card due to bending and piling up with each other, and is suitable to use for a periodic card, is obtd. |
