PURPOSE:To increase the power of a sprocket by providing the rotation center of an ultransmissible rotary body inside a ring of a length of chain in such a way that the traveling track of said chain nearly coincides with a track of a chain which is assumed to travel on a transmitting sprocket. CONSTITUTION:A length of chain 1 is stretchedly provided in an annular state around a transmitting sprocket 2, and the center O2 of the transmitting sprocket 2 coincides with the center of a transmission shaft and the sprocket 2 rotates in an integrated form with the shaft. Untransmissible rotary bodies 3 are installed on the both sides of the transmitting sprocket 2, and the diameter of the outer periphery 3a of the untransmissible rotary body 3 is used for the traveling pitch circle diameter D3 of the chain so as to be larger than the pitch circle diameter D2 of the transmitting sprocket 2. Accordingly, the traveling pitch circle diameter D3 corresponds to a sprocket having greater number of teeth than the transmitting sprocket 2 which actually transmits power, causing harmonic motion to be small while enabling greater power to be taken out. |
